Another U3A walk...

It was really hot this afternoon; pretty much the same walk as I did after Wednesday’s swim but it was a circular walk so instead of jumping on the bus we made a big loop and walked back to where we started. The last bit was across the beach and the breeze meant it was a little cooler.
But at the end Andy and I wanted an ice cream and since Andy is vegan we had to walk to the next beach kiosk so we got hot all over again. But if you have eaten the ice cream while still only half way back to the car that means that the extra walk we did was 4 times the eating length of a Magnum so must have used up more calories than we ate. Surely!
