The culprits

I spent time today re arranging their pen and carrying out plan C

Plan A - clip wings  {failed)
Plan B - move hut further from tunnel and move compost bin to prevent it being used as launchpad. (partial success, they cannot get out of pen in daytime but still jump on top of tunnel at night to roost)

Plan C - move hut further from tunnel and put sticks along one side to prevent take off, move feeder away from tunnel to prevent launch.  (Success but it was raining and they may have wanted to sleep inside hut so tricked me)

So for now I am winning the war but I expect them to retaliate. They are all very angry at being confined to barracks so shouting loudly at me whenever I appear.

Lovely night out later with the girls at Lord of the Isles in Croabh Haven to celebrate my soon to be birthday. Lovely chat with Ewan from Landward sitting at next table who seemed genuinely a lovely guy.
