This Green and Pleasant Land

Across to Bury St Edmunds with Mike's brother and wife for lovely lunch with his sister and ex-husband. Afterwards, some of us went for a quick trot with Vasco, the dog. It was so hot! But so green and lush!

Then hours cross country, back to Sutton Coldfield and out for an Italian meal with my sister and husband, at a restaurant I've long wanted to go to. The food was excellent.

And now we are lying in our own bed, it's a great feeling.

Gratefuls:
- meeting the gorgeous Charlotte, Mike's brother's new granddaughter
- all the generous hospitality we've received since we came to England, it is truly amazing
- being back in our own house for a few days now
