July 4th

Food and fun.

Nice parade as usual.  A wonderful float of the lunar landing I'd had a preview of these last couple of weeks as the creators live in a house not far from our condo, so I'd spied it in the making and yesterday saw a dress rehearsal of it in their front yard as I was walked past (extra of the float in the parade).  The chalk art was in full swing, a lot of the pieces finished, or nearly so.  Stanford's marching band were as entertaining as usual, very energetic, the Sequoia tree mascot in psychedelia gear this time.  :-)
