With all the serious issues confronting our nation he picks out fox hunting as worthy of attention because ‘it is part of our heritage’. Well so were public executions, ducking stools and the criminalisation of homosexuality. Doesn’t mean we want to bring them back. Idiot.  And he looks like a stoned robot.

I had a reasonably productive day. Very happy in the garden tonight. It was a beautiful evening and still more fine weather to come. Popped out briefly for a beer and to say hi to our friends from Scotland who were on a flying visit. Reasons to be cheerful ...
