Radical

These are the radical steps in Kirkby Lonsdale, which lead from St Mary's church down to the river. According to the sign at the top, they were "Constructed by Dr Francis Pearson of this parish". Coyly, they don't mention he was a liberal, hence them being known as the radical steps.
