Incoming

We have enjoyed a bit of a lazy day today.  Used the car to go and visit the son and daughter-in-law of Trish's next door neighbour. Enjoyed a cup of coffee in the garden before heading off to pick up petrol and some shopping for tonight's meal.  Then home for some lunch, a bit of tennis before we went for a walk around a local common where we saw many, many butterflies, some of which I could identify because of blip members who post these beauties. It was a hot stroll but at least the steps were almost got.  We called into a local cemetery en route home but there weren't that many interesting tombstones.  Back to watching tennis and I feel a g&t coming soon. The extra was taken on our common walk. A lovely ball - don't know the name but hope someone will tell me.
The bee was busy on the lavender in the garden of the house I am staying in.
