101 Things to do with an old car; #1

Got an old car you no longer need and don't know what do do with? Easy; convert into a bench and drinks table.

Whenever we come to Symi we always spend the first day wandering round the harbour area, seeing what has changed and what hasn't. It was lovely to be greeted like long lost friends by three people we met, as we were last night by two others when we went for a drink and bite to eat. We've also seen several people we recognise and had greetings from several of them. It's good to be back! Symi is very hilly and as usual we are staying up in the old town, Chorio, although not quite as high up as previously. Having just missed the bus we headed back up what are laughingly known as 'The Lazy Steps' so our thighs and hearts got a really good workout. There are so many steps here that although we come for a relaxing holiday we usually go home fitter than when we arrived.

A couple of extras added. The view back to the harbour from about halfway up; there used to be a bar here, the Kali Strata Bar, which was a great stopping off point on the way up. I've also added an extra especially for Shygirl73; Dino's sponge shop. No sign of Dino yet though!
