Gilcomston Church

A visit to the Braided Fig today, a wine bar and small restaurant in the city centre. We went in briefly in the afternoon for a glass of Prosecco. The sky has returned to the dull white typical of area. Still fairly warm though.

Near the wine bar I took this picture of the rear view of Gilcomston Church. At some point in the past I have probably features the front of the church which faces on to Union Street. Obviously I have replaced the sky with something a bit more interesting and removed a rubbish bin. Regrettably rubbish bins seem to be a feature of most streets nowadays, they decorate the pavements and come in a variety of colours, no doubt giving an indication of the contents. Despite having removed one bin, three still remain in the picture!
