Tain 10k

Here is the start of the Tain 10k road race, an event in the week long gala celebrations. Well supported event, with loads of club runners and a fast course. The headwind on the inward leg was a bit of a challenge but I was fairly pleased to come 12th. 

Earlier we had paid our respects at the Culloden Battlefield before heading into the metropolis of Inverness for a late lunch at the brilliant Black Isle Bar - dog and child friendly!
