This planting, in a long bed in front of “Innovation House” (or the glass box as many call it), was part of a show garden at The RHS Flower Show in July 2017. The garden’s theme was “Canal, Coal and Craft”, and celebrated the Bridgewater Canal.

After the Show some of the planting was transplanted to Salford’s Civic Centre.

It looked good again in 2018, and it’s still looking good in 2019. One of those things at the Civic that lifts the heart.
