Pink and Poppy

I was reduced to creeping around the garden, tripod-mounted camera in hand, to find a blip-worthy scene.

I found quite a few, but failed to focus properly on most of them; this one came out closes to my anticipated result.  My focus still needs work, but I should have taken more time to set the tripod up properly and to adjust the aperture appropriately.  But the wind was blowing the stalks so it became more an more difficult . . .
