Considering every day feels like Sunday whilst I'm on holiday I actually forgot it was Sunday....well I forgot about Sunday opening times anyway. I decided to go into town and get a couple of birthday presents and take some pics of the fairground rides in St Ann's Square. I went early, but it was far too early and even though some shops were open they couldn't sell anything until midday.

I was forced to retreat into M&S and buy a cuppa with a scone to wile away the time. It is a hard life. I sat by the window and did some serious people watching.

I eventually got my shopping, including purchasing some curling tongs. These could be a disaster buy but I will experiment and see. I also went into Forsythe's and bought a couple of music books as it is time I got my clarinet out and started playing again.....it has been so long that I've probably forgotten how.....my poor neighbours!

The rides were all fairly quiet as there weren't really that many people in town...they probably were all in the Trafford Centre. I took a few pics and chose this one for today's blip. It isn't the best but I liked the boy in the top left who covered his face up as the ride spun him every which way. I got home just as the rain started again. Tea, chocolates and a good film now, methinks.
