Time for the Bees!

Dear Diary,

The Spirea is in full bloom now and it is a bee magnet.  I counted no less than a dozen bees on this one bush and at least three different kinds of my buzzy friends.  I just have to stand there, focus on a flower and wait.  Soon, I will have an unwitting subject.  The light has been good to for bee portraiture.  Another beautiful, warm day today and John is coming to help me plant and do some deadheading, a constant chore at this time of the year and it is slow going if you always stop to photograph bees!
