My lovely chums...

...I was instructed to keep my Saturday afternoon and evening free for a trip to Glasgow with Mrs Scobes. We popped into Babbity Bowster's for a drink and something to eat. I looked up during our conversation and a girl walked past who was the spitting image of our mate Su, followed by a girl who looked like Fi; the arrival of Rog and Pete gave the game away and it was clear that I'd been set-up for surprise night on the tiles.

We booked-in for rooms in Babbity's, ate a most acceptable meal of stovies and then headed up the Great Western Road. The night was rounded off back in Babbity's with a night cap or two from the residents bar.

Smashing day out and a lovely surprise.
