A Winters Night

Another wet day and I was able to spend it at the movies seeing Scotch: The Golden Dram.  It gets some harsh reviews but I was happy to be seduced by the scenery, the accents and lingering shots of amber liquid being nosed and swirled in glasses.  Prior to this I had an interesting visit with the G. P and tomorrow I will have an ultra sound on my leg to rule out deeper clots in my varicose veins.  Too much information I know but I'm interested as I haven't been near  a hospital since my children were born.  Also good service I thought having a blood test in the morning and a  call from Dr and radiology a few hours later.  In the afternoon I had coffee with Annabelle and we caught up on six weeks worth of gossip news.
