Tiny Tuesday Milkweed

The Asclepsis (Common Milkweed) grove is growing nicely. The first tiny flower in a cluster to open today. Alas, NO BUTTERFLIES at all.
Well, last week I spotted over very small white one. I am not seeing or hearing any honey bees or bumble bees either.
I feel like I have prepared for a party and the invited guests have not arrived.
My friend who lives in the next valley says she sees lots of bees and butterflies. I think I may do over to her place tomorrow if the weather is nice and take a look.
