Heathrow Pods

We had a six hour wait at Heathrow yesterday. We were not able to drop off our luggage right away for our next flight, so we tested the Heathrow Pods, which are small electric vehicles that work on auto-pilot and transport passengers between terminal 5 and the parking. They are absolutely adorable and the ride is a total joy. It is a wonderful invention and I really would like to see this technology in more places.
It is interesting to see this progressiveness has not spilled over to other services at terminal 5, as I mentioned before, one can't drop off one's luggage until three hours before the flight, they don't provide fee wi-fi and not really paid options either. At least all the personnel was extremely friendly and ready to help, so it was a good day over-all.
