Birthday Girl

These two lovely people are Sue and Martin who we met at Leeds dock a couple of weeks ago. When we arrived there were no moorings so Martin invited us to tie up to their boat, which meant us walking across their deck to get on and off. After a couple of nights we moved on and more or less followed each other all the way back to Skipton and meeting up in various places along the way. Before we parted company Martin told us he had organised a surprise birthday party for Sue at a pub not too far from where we live and invited us too.
So tonight was the night and Sue was very surprised to see us there!
They left their permanent mooring 67 days ago for this trip and are now on their way home. Well, I say home - they are always at home as they live aboard their boat 'Tranquility' all the time.
Sue is a very talented artist specializing in birds, flowers and wildlife.
We're so glad we met them and I daresay we will keep in touch. :-)
