Our Sophie

Today we’ve been to Leicester to see the Ladies’ One Day Cricket International against Australia. We thoroughly enjoyed it despite England being beaten (in the end, not as badly as seemed possible at one point). Top player for England for me was Sophie Ecclestone, who got a valiant 27 runs coming in well down the order, then followed it up with excellent bowling figures taking 3 wickets off 10 overs for 34 runs. Well, she’s a Lancastrian, you see.
