Green Field

Long periods of inactivity had left our heads muzzy and craving for some fresh air. F was shown the locality, which means venturing into a mixture of deep-mud and back-lanes.
The Lugg is in full flood, and from our vantage point the countryside offered us it's Winter Mantle to full effect, including wheeling crows and soggy sheep.

The sun shone briefly, but not on us. Snow would have been the ultimate of course, but we were very satisfied, and returned happily to our log fire
