Birthday card for Br. Robert

Poor Robert, he used to have his birthday all to himself.
Now it is known worldwide as Brexit Day. 
And Robert's a Brit! Priested at Durham Cathedral.

Though he arrived in America more than fifty years ago thinking he'd spend 12 months here, he has lived all over the U.S.A, most recently in San Francisco, but still sounds like the BBC. (Or, rather, the way the BBC used to sound back when Robert first set foot on our shores.) People come up to him in restaurants, having heard his accent, and ask if he'd record the message on their answering machine. Sometimes he does!

A few days after I mailed this card, Br. Robert managed to turn 91 with good humor, celebrate mass at the friary, and enjoy sponge cake for dessert.
