Wild swans!

Swans at the beach in the evening as we made a 5km trip around the lake, me and hubby, with bicycles. There was two teen girls swimming (or just standing) in water, as the mother bird swam near to them.

It has been a rainy day, only some +17c at it's warmest. I wonder where the promised heat wave was. It surely did not land here... All day indoors playing with photos (please see extra) and catching up on your Blips.

These swans are wild, but very familiar to people. Still I wondered what will happen. Girls did freeze, waiting what will happen, but the mother bird passed them st few meters distance only. Not saying anything, not making any gestures. Beautiful and nice it was.

No cycnets seen with them, but the left side mother bird did leave the beach suddently, as it quickly swam back to left side weeds. So maybe there was someone small with them.
