The Bridge Over the River Quack!

I was sitting in the Clachnaharry, reading my 'Herald' newspaper, when I saw the barman and a regular called Michael, rushing in and out of the door. 'What's going on?' I said. Apparently there were a couple of ducks on the main road. Then they went outwith a heel of brown bread. I didn't get the full story until Michael returned. He'd used the bread to get the ducks to follow him over the footbridge.(Pictured) They were not very good at negotiating the steps and looked quite comical, he told us. He got them down onto the green beside the canal. (Not pictured) What a man - Chris Packham would be proud of him! I should have been out blipping all this, but I did not comprehend the full nature of the unfolding drama. Michael pronounced the episode; 'The Bridge Over the River Quack.' Mr and Mrs Duck seemed none the worse. (Extra shot)
