PINK GRASSHOPPER
I've looked this up and it's a rare genetic mutation called erythrism, so I was very lucky to see it (especially as it was less than an inch long). They don't normally get to adulthood because of their unfortunate visibility to predators. When I googled it (apart from the fact that Google thought "erythritic grasshopper" ought to have been "arthritic grasshopper"), I see that previous sightings have been reported on national news websites, but I expect they've got enough news to be going on with at the moment.
