Pleated and pixelated

Rising swell in Waikiki   . . .   love how the waves stack up.   Good thing this photographer was wearing slippers, as the seawall often became a slip-and-slide.  However, I didn't manage to get the wall awash and the waves stacked in one shot.  Huge beautiful splashes of backwash rippled out meeting the incoming waves and raising beautiful verticals.  Lots of hammocks up.  Tradewinds today, should be gone by Wednesday.  Gorgeous afternoon, wish you were here  . . .
