New swimming pool

We started swimming on a Monday last week, here at the local hospital’s hydrotherapy pool. We have the same Turtle Tots teacher that we’ve had for the last 3+ years but we’ve had to go back a level due to our old class at Brands Hatch being severely depleted in numbers (we were the only ones to sign up for the new term).

So here we are in a smaller, boiling hot pool and L is loving swimming just as much as ever. Today we played with the shark fins on their backs which are brilliant at getting the children to use both arms and legs to move around as they have nothing to hold onto.

The only downside is that I am finding it rather tiring having work in the morning and swimming in the afternoon, rather than an activity on its own on my day off. Hopefully I’ll get used to it.
