Weird Wasp?

The critter with the red abdomen and the eyes that could haunt a thousand dreams, is not one that I recognise.  But look again at the size of that eye.  Huge.

Another really hot night where sleeping was difficult.  I was up and at work for 6:30 though.  Shame that the air-conditioing in our building died a death at the weekend.  

6:30 and it's 28°C in your office - it's not a recipe for success.  More of a recipe for sweating and swearing.  The sweating I can do in any language, but the swearing really only works in Englisch.

Never mind.  I still got to leave just after 4 this afternoon.  Temperatures were the same indoors and out.
