Port Medoc

This morning the skies over Port Medoc looked rather grey and overcast, in spite of the rest of France still in the grip the grip of a heatwave.

The port was created in 2002-4 to revitalise an area near the tip of the Gironde peninsula. Whilst the mooring for boats seems relatively well occupied by some expensive looking craft, the rest of the port seems under-utilised.
