Going, going...

These two buildings have been derelict as long as I can remember. There was all sorts of rumors as to why they had been left but finally things were about to start moving a couple of weeks ago.
Plans were passed for a car park at ground level with some sort of terrace above it. Archeologists were to be given access to the site before building began; diversions in place for when the road was closed and then it was discovered the road had an embargo on it. So nothing could happen until they got the embargo lifted!
It now appears to be happening but things happen in strange ways here and work may be stopped yet. Somebody may raise the Clameur de Haro and that could stop it in its tracks for a year and a day!
