I Shouldn't Have Done It

There were a lot of things I should have done this weekend, but making a wooden spatula was not one of them.

After looking through the Summer catalog from Lee Valley a couple of weeks ago, I asked Cynthia if there  were any items she would like me to order. The spatula with the name on it was one of them. When it arrived I thought it would be fun to try making one. I just happened to have a scrap of maple that was exactly the right size. How could I resist?
