Home Made Fresh Raspberry Cake

The girls (daughter and granddaughters) had picked fresh raspberries yesterday.  Today they surprised us with this home made raspberry lemon cake which they had baked and decorated earlier today.   We had planned a day together, swimming and dinner.  Soon after visitors arrived,  everyone agreed to cut the cake and enjoy it before going swimming. Surprisingly, we had the swimming pool all to ourselves.

 All this activity, sun, fresh air, and dinner, has made for a delightful day and now the little ones are asleep, soon to be followed by the adults.
