Lunch Spot

Waterfall Creek to Damper Bay.  I didn't go as far as the other 12 walkers, so was happy to have my lunch here sitting on a rock watching the moody weather.  I clocked up 10 km, or 14,000 steps.  The extra is of the track heading back to Waterfall Creek.  

I saw a lot of young people walking, they were the staff of Treble Cone Skifield.  Unfortunately TC isn't open yet, so they dropped the young people off at Glendhu Bay and they walked back to Wanaka, about 15 k's.  They hope to open tomorrow!

We had a welcome cuppa at a local cafe on the way back to the cars.  It was another super day to be out in the great outdoors.
