I worked in Glasgow city centre for 34 years, but it's only since I was made redundant retired that I have really noticed the wonderful architecture on many of the buildings. I decided to go into town for a short while this afternoon to have a closer look around Bothwell Street and St Vincent Street, taking advantage of the quieter Sunday streets and lack of traffic (human and vehicular).

These four panels are on the frontage of the Scottish Legal Life Assurance Society building in Bothwell Street. I don't know their specific significance, but they are rather splendid nonetheless.
