Hawea Whitewater Kayak Park

A few months ago while we were walking along by the Hawea River, we saw huge works being done on the river. This is the result, two waterfalls that the kayakers play on. This is the first time I have seen them there, and was amazed at the agility of the participants. This particular fall is the most difficult, the other one is more gentle.
