After the heat and humidity of yesterday, today was very pleasant ........ even with the grey sky. 

I had an early walk to the shops and did some housework. Then I started sorting through boxes we brought back from my Aunt's house. Some things to keep, some for charity shops and the rest will probably go to auction. 

I've polished silver, researched hallmarks, read a letter that my Grandma wrote and never sent, and looked through hundreds of colour slides. I just held them up to the light and used a magnifier but it was enough to be able to sort the keepers ....... some of which feature me around the age of 7. 

It was such hard work that I fell asleep afterwards!
