Shady lady

Mrs Blackbird here was sitting in the shade down the track when I went for my walk this afternoon.  I don't blame her.  My walk began grey and muggy and ended up hot and sweaty.  Further down the footpath there were clouds of butterflies: meadow browns, small tortoiseshell, peacocks, red admirals, a comma, skippers and various whites.  Also a lot of damselflys and 3 dragonflies that zoomed off as soon as they saw me coming.  It's not a good place to blip though, as the path is so narrow and overgrown it's hard to get a clear shot.

This evening I'm having an early supper with friends, so will finish off what commented I haven't done when I get back.
