Kingfisher

There aren't many birds around at this time of the year. Miranda is known as the Seabird Coast because of the shallow water and exposed mudflats at low tide. During spring and summer, this coast is heaving with bird life but at this time of the year the migratory birds have gone leaving just a few locals.
I know this isn't very sharp but I was pleased to be able to photograph a bird!
