HAPPY SWEDES

Heavy couch duty today - having got the TV back, I've been bingeing - watched the F1 qualifying rounds to see Lewis beaten into second place on tomorrow's starting grid in Austria.

Watched the Dutch women beating the Italians 2-0 - & the Swedes beating the Germans 2-1

Why am I so pleased for the Swedes? Could it have something to do with the Messerschmitt which took off one of our chimneys before plummeting into the field opposite? Or the doodlebug which cut out & blew out our kitchen windows?

Memories die hard & I was only three...
