Flax for the memory!

Just back from New Zealand and I didn't quite expect to.be confronted by a New Zealand flax plant (Phormium Tenax) in the Culross community garden.
There are so many super flowers in that garden but sadly it needs serious work done. Where's Alan Titchmarsh when you need him?
A wee quick extra photo today. I opened the garage door and the sun shone right in on my piece of miniature America. So much better than electricity!
