On the roof

I've posted photos before of gulls choosing rather silly locations to nest in, but this family got it right. They nested on the gently-sloping roof of the health centre, with the nest resting on the top of a skylight window. The nest has gone, but Junior sits happily among the curved tiles, and gets his exercise walking around the outside of the window under his parents' watchful gaze. (The other was out of shot along the roof, occasionally swooping down to see off crows that came too near, but neither seemed particularly bothered to see me - I guess they're used to having lots of people around!)
