Hurrah!

The meadow sweet is out! I love it and its delicate scent.

Great 5 mile walk first thing to miss the heat. Saw a common tern over the reservoir - quite a few weeks since I added anything new to this year's bird list.

Then popped down with a friend to the last open day / plant fair at Henbury hall before it is taken over by its new owners.
It will be sad if they don't open their doors a few times a year but will have to wait and see on that front.
