'Thank You'

For the first time this year I failed to take a photo. However, these flowers were given to me as a thank you for looking after my friend's dear dog for a couple of days and I wanted to record them for my journal. By the time I got round to it it was dark, hence the back blip.

It was a strange day weather wise. Very hot and sultry but it was blowing a hooley, right up until 6pm when we had planned a bar b que with a few close friends.
( Many of the flowers in the garden have been flattened including my yellow lupins, which I mixed in with the stocks given to me)

We sat outside until well after 11pm enjoying the food expertly cooked by jorgiesdad. He also makes a mean Pimms so I might as well come clean and admit that this was the reason I didn't blip on the correct day !!
