Vazon Bay

It was way too hot for me again today but since my mate Andy had suggested I ought to visit the Shell Shrine; probably because he was on duty there this afternoon.
Since I’d been meaning to visit it for years I decided to get it ticked off my ‘to do’ list despite the heat. I got the bus part way there and walked the rest while looking for a couple of geocaches.
The Shrine was OK; clearly a lot of work putting all these tiny shells all over the concrete bunker but it wasn’t really to my taste.
When I came out of the Shrine the mist had come down and the beach had disappeared and it was a lot cooler; and that suited me a lot better.
