Ricky

My new friend Ricky (Ricância) is lively and fabulous. She’s a Mozambican fashion designer with her own brand, which she is trying to expand to Brazil. I met her at the recent party at the British High Commissioner’s house, as she’s the High Commissioner’s stylist.

Her apartment doubles as her studio and exudes that effortless cool that I will never pull off. She wants me to be her gay best friend as the former one moved to Brazil. I haven’t yet had the heart to tell her I’m not stylish enough.

We met for a scrumptious lunch and I snapped her whilst popping up to fetch her from her place.
