Tree top

I had hoped to be able to photograph a lovely pale pink rose at the park this afternoon but it was much too windy for that. Fortunately it stayed dry the whole time and we even had a glimpse of the sun and some blue sky. I was in two minds about choosing either this shot or another one of only the blue sky and the clouds but eventually picked this one of a tree with a rather large nest right at the top.

It eventually did rain today but not until longer after I was home again.
