Red Admiral

I haven't been to RHS Wisley since they opened the new Welcome centre, so popped in on the way to Mum's for the weekend. I must admit it is pretty impressive, but the large space will take some getting use to! 

In keeping with the new entrance, I took a new route round the gardens, finding areas I hadn't visited before, but eventually ended up at the Glasshouse Borders where this purple Veronicastrum is flowering profusely. The insects were loving it, and I was delighted to manage to catch this Red Admiral.
