Robert the Bruce

Sad day today as we left our holiday accommodation to begin the journey home. Scotland was still showing us it's finest weather which didn't make leaving any easier. Close to where we were staying was a herb garden and we stopped to have a quick look around, it was a little piece of heaven!!

We were due to visit an ex work colleague of RF'S for lunch in Dunfermline and they had put on a magnificent spread!!

After this we stopped at friends and walked around Carnegie park which surrounds the cathedral where Robert the Bruce is buried. We were staying the night with them and had a lovely meal in a local tapas bar before revisiting the music of our collective youth via Alexa, a great evening!!
