Today was our annual Church School Leaders Conference at Stock Brook Manor. The main theme was the well-being of children, staff & schools. There were some truly inspiring stories like the Maldon Up Project, pairing Y6 children with residents of a local care home. Children spoke about the difference the relationship has made to them and to the residents and their hopes for this work to expand in the future. Excellent! And we also heard about the Archbishop of York Young Leaders Award, which engages with hundreds of children in hundreds of schools, training and celebrating young leaders of today and tomorrow. Another excellent project.
