Avignon

Suddenly it has got hot and at exactly that moment the air-con in the car has decided enough is enough. It doesn't help ones equanimity driving in ridiculous 37C temperatures without air-con but hey-ho.
Why Avignon I hear you ask. The answer could be to visit the site of the Pope's Palace and the famous Pont d'Avigon, as in the song, but in fact it was to visit the IKEA there to finish of our renewal of some beds process.
We did do a whistle-stop tour of the centre of the city which is impressive but, as mentioned above, v. hot.
